About : The btNOG Conference and Workshop is an opportunity for capacity development for the professionals of IT/ICT involved in the operation of networks and network services in Bhutan.
Venue : btNOG 5 will be held in Simtokha at the Royal Institute of Management.

Register

btNOG's Fifth Meeting consists of 1 day of conference followed by 4 days of training by hands-on-training.

  • The registration fee for the conference is Nu.3000 (US$60).
  • The registration fee for both training and conference is Nu.9500 (US$150).

Registration is available now. We encourage you to register as soon as possible. Due to the popular demand for the courses, the limited number of training seats will run out quickly.

Topics

The call for papers for the 4th June btNOG plenary is now open. Please submit your presentation proposals as soon as possible. The programme will be assembled on a first come first served basis. Deadline for all submissions is 20th May 2018.

Presentations

The presentations will be made available by following the agenda links above after the conference has completed.

Residents of Bhutan interested in participating in btNOG5 are requested to register online or bring their completed registration form to their nearest TashiCell Customer Care centre to register. Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration - no training seat is guaranteed until registration has been paid for.

International guests who wish to participate in btNOG5 are requested to complete the registration form and send it to btnog-sec(at)nog(dot)bt to confirm their registration.

How to get to Simtokha

Simtokha is a few kiolmetres south of Thimphu. International participants have a choice of airlines, DrukAir and TashiAir, flying from Singapore, Bangkok, Dhaka, Kathmandu, and 6 airports in India.

International delegates other than Indian and Bangladeshi nationals need to send their completed, signed and scanned visa form with picture to btnog-sec(at)nog(dot)bt. International delegates will also need to pay USD 40 as visa fee upon arrival at Paro International Airport, Bhutan.
